6 Days
Thousand of Thank Yous!

We’re heading out with our amazing friends at Volunteering Matters on a gruelling, 6 day, 1000km cycle challenge from Edinburgh to London, stopping and thanking thousands of amazing COVID volunteers along the route. See the full info on who’s riding, which volunteers we are thanking and more at https://www/justgiving.com/campaign/tourdethanks

Keep reading to find out how to get involved or support us!

Ride a mile with us, support and encourage us online, attend a stop, watch us on the interactive map or organise your own fundraising event. There’s loads of ways you can get involved in The Tour de Thanks!

Donate Now

Your donation, no matter how small, means so much to people right across the UK who depend on the support of volunteers and community projects. Seeing the donations come in will also lift the spirits of the riders to help them on their massive journey!

Ride With Us

Ride along with us and give Paul and TIm so much needed support and encouragement, we’d love to see as many people as possible! We’d love you to know you’re coming, just pop a couple of details into this form and we’ll keep you on to speed on our progress and schedule so you’ll know where to meet us or come to wave us in or off.

Casual Cyclists

Join us at the town/city bounds, ride with us to the stop and give the volunteers a cheer when we give them their thank you! For those with young kids why not meet us 1/2 mile out?!

Regular and Club Riders

We welcome experienced riders to sit out front and help us fight the prevailing winds! If you are able to average around 15mph over distance, you’re welcome to join us for a whole day (125 miles approx.), a few hours or whatever you can manage. Any rider that joins us for half a day or more will be presented with a special edition #PinYourThanks pin badge!

All riders participate at their own risk. We’re really sorry but we are not able to provide support, insurance, welfare or facilities for those who ride along with us.

There’s so many ways you can support us without even getting on a bike. Find out where we are and follow us (literally) on the following channels:

Send a message of encouragement, a thanks to a volunteer or share your own fundraising photos! If you can get out and about we’d love to see you at one of the starts or finishes of each leg. Here’s the map and schedule. Just seeing some lovely folks waving and cheering us on will really help to lift our spirits!

Be A Stop Ambassador

We’re looking for some lovely people who’d be happy to volunteer along the route to help us to plan stops and to support the riders. If you’re up for helping locals to find and meet us, looking after a celeb or a dignitary or able to plenish our amazing riders with some lovely gold drinks and a snack or seven! Then we’d love to hear from you at hello@pinyourthanks.org or pop some details in the form here

Raise Some Funds

Why not run a fundraiser at the office, at school or at home! You could cycle along with us on a static bike, go out on your own challenge ride or maybe organise a fun outdoor activity such as cycle treasure hunt. All funds raised will go to help volunteering projects in local communities across the UK.
